Awesome dice: Steampunk white & black set

Hi!

From time to time I will present you some dice sets of my choice (but I'm open to suggestions!). Today lest look at Steampunk white & black set from Q-workshop.

So here is the set in a box, I think it's packed neatly, the dice can't scratch one another during the shipping and they present themselves pretty awesome.

Steampunk dice are my favorite design from Q-workshop. Just look at them, how can you not like them?

But let's look at each dice separately.

First, D4.
I think it's the hardest one to read from the whole set, the numbers ape quite small and get lost and you have to think which number is not there because that's the number it presents, however they are still readable and quite awesome.

D6.
This is a perfect balance, the numbers are clear and the design is vivid.

D8.
This one is also great, clear numbers and nice design.

D10 & D100.
I think these tow have more vivid numbers than the rest but it might be just my impression, anyway they look great.

D12.
I really like how the round design works here.

D20.
My favorite one, mostly because the number 20 is replaced by a symbol of a toothed bar.

Let me know if you like this set or not and why :) I am really curious about your opinions.

Have dice day!

CoastCon 37

Hi!

From time to time I get requests for donations and I am really happy if my jewelry can help a good cause. This time I've got a request from CoastCon 37 and I happily donated three things:

You can find them all in my Etsy shop.

"Each year, CoastCon selects a charity to receive the proceeds from our annual charity auction. This year, our chosen charity is the Pink Heart Funds of Long Beach, MS!

Since 2005, Pink Heart Funds has been providing wigs to those suffering from hair loss caused by cancer treatments or other hair loss disorders, as well as provides breast prosthesis and lymphedema sleeves, all FREE of charge."

So if you happen to be there you can get my jewerly and help some people at the same time.
You can see other donations on CoastCon Charity Auction facebook page.

Steampunk Dice Fashion #1

Steampunk dice form Q-workshop are my favorite dice I had ever seen and worked with. The details are amazing and they represent the style so well. They come in variety of colors but because I like simplicity I've been using mostly the beige-black ones. If you order a set, you get it all in a nice box.

I started my steampunk creations with dice cufflinks. They are a great accessory to costumes for conventions and such or even for weddings.
For these I used D12 & D20 only (but I would do others for custom orders). With D12 I used gold cufflinks and for D20 bronze ones.

Because I like these dice so much I ordered a whole set (two to be exact) and made earrings out of them. I used metal elements in bronze color because I think they fit better the style than the regular silver ones. I like things simple so I decided not to add anything to the dice but I am thinking about adding some toothed bars in the future, but not soon I suppose.

You can get all of my dice jewelry and accessories in my Etsy Shop.

Something a bit off the topic but still related a bit... I ordered amazing dice recently, not from Q-workshop this time but from Chessex and I cannot wait to get them. I hope they will be as fantastic as on the pictures and that they would make wonderful earrings.

That's all for today.
Have a great day!

Steampunk dice

Long absence, I know, but recently my life has been so crazy that I hardly have time to sleep the proper amount of time... but enough about my life, I don't want to bore you with that. Today I wanted to share with you my steampunk dice necklaces/pedants. Some of you might already seen them at my other sites or in my etsy shop MageStudio

I used D12 and D20 steampunk q-workshop dice. I love q-workshop dice, they are really precise and made from great materials, fantastic quality and they have so many variates to choose from! I wish I could have all of them :D

I drilled the holes in them myself :) I love drilling, it really addicting... haha :D
I also used some parts of a clock, some cogs and stuff like that and added little glass beads to make it more girly and shiny :D

The D12 dice is on a green suede string which measures approx. 60cm/23in (regulated between 55-60cm/21-23in)

D20 dice is on a brown string which measures approx. 46cm/18in (regulated between 42-46cm/16-18in)

I am also thinking about making other things from those and other dies, hopefully really soon (I am waiting for new supplies at this very moment)

Are there any dice you would like to see as necklaces/pedants? Or maybe you also make dice jewelry? I would love to see your makings :)
Love to all!
