Awesome dice accessories: Mortivoreium

Hi everyone!

Today I want to introduce to you some amazing dice jewelry pieces made by Mortivoreium. The amazing author behind these art pieces is Cynthia Kitzmiller from Los Angeles.

As she wrote herself she designs and crafts art jewelry inspired by fantasy & sci-fi themed tabletop RPGs, movies, video games and stories. Her work is detailed with themes inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, some pieces are directly inspired by her adventures playing with friends. She loves to give each piece a distinctive structure with touches of skulls, bones, armory and monstrous iconography. She uses a variety of mixed metals, RPG mini's and polyhedral dice.

She enjoys the process of designing and fabricating jewelry and accessories, she has also worked behind the scenes of some jewelry, clothing, design and supply oriented businesses. She enjoys creating all kinds of things, while continuing to expand her knowledge and delight in learning about how things are made. She also dabbles in 3D modeling, wax carving, lost wax casting, silversmithing and miniature sculpture. Other hobbies and interests include costume design, PC gaming, sewing, digital design and admiring the art and sculptures of other fellow artists.

She seems like a cool person and you can see it in her jewerly:

As you can see her pieces are amazingly detailed and creative. I just adore her necklaces and can look at them all the time, I must buy one from her in the nearest future.

be sure to check her on Etsy, facebook, twitter, google+, devinatart

I hope you enjoyed looking at her jewelry as I do!

Finally Q-workshop released their new NUKE design dice! They showed the design some time ago, I even wrote about it here. Now you can buy them on their site, there is one color available so far and they still have the glowing in the dark ones with the previous design here.

New design:

Which design do you like more? I think the new design loos cooler but it seems also harder to read but I'm gonna check that when I buy a set.

Photos were taken form Q-workshop site.

3 dice and one

Hi :)

Some time ago I placed an order from Q-workshop and they forgot to put one set of dice that I ordered. So they had to send it in another package and as a compensation they added 3 Elven dice which aren't available in their shop. And as always I received a dice with their logo but this time it was in amazing color. The dice has Q-workshoo logo on one side and some of their designs on other sides. I have 3 colors so far, I hope to get a different one with next purchase :)

Awesome Dice Set: Call of Cthulhu

Hi!

As always I'm trying to get back after a long break. Today I want to show you another amazing dice set, namely Call of Cthulhu, as usual from Q-workshop. You may choose from different colors, I picked the black and green one as it seemed the most Cthulhu like. So yeah, lets look at the photos :)

The whole set look pretty great, the green on the black is vivid and the numbers are clear. The D4 is quite different as it does not have an elder sign alone on any side as opposed to the all other dice in the set which do have on one side just the elder sign instead of the number. But the D4 is always different in this way and I think it's also the worst one to have readable numbers. The D20 is always my favorite as it ALWAYS has some symbol instead on the number (ok, maybe not always but very often). Here, you also have an elder sign on D6, D8, D10, D12, D100.

The set was packed in a special plastic and cardboard boxes as usually Q-workshop packs their sets.

I am sure for any Cthulhu fan this would be a great present and it costs only 19$.

That's all for today.

Awesome Dice Set: Japanese Dice

Hi!

Sorry for my long absence but I was busy with preparing for a convention (which btw was fantastic!). I'm back now & today I want to show you a lovely set of dice. I will probably appeal more to the female part of my readers but I'm sure that men can also appreciate good design, even if it's full of flowers. So let's look closer at Japanese Dice Set from Q-workshop.

I've chosen white and red set with flowers but there are also other colors available without the flowers. Dice were designed by Mariana Yamamoto.

The set came in a simple box with number translation at the back for those who do not know Japanese symbols.

Here's the set without the box.

I think the amount of flowers is balanced, we can easily see the numbers so the dice are both readable and beautiful :)

Now let's have closer look at each dice separately:
